im useing vinculatg and gates 4-11-06 updater release and working fine in subscriber and Group rooms , but i get this Pong in my status window (* PONG from TK2CHATCHATG13: »»—Rïçk— ) when a user dose a a certain a couple 7 or 8 line !word responses whats cuzing that , i have hide ping / pong ticked in Mirc options/options ?? any advice

thats the server and mirc checking with each other to see if they are still connected ( ping/pong event )

Its nothing to worry about and if you go to mirc settings you can change it so it doesnt show

as to the cookie grabber , it isnt finished yet and err0r and i are working on it as and when we have time, as we are both busy at the moment

yep, and my updater does the job in the mean time, so don't rush them. As for fixing that message you get. Try this:

Open up mIRC's option dialog (to do this, from mIRC's menu select View > Options).

A dialog will appear, on the navigation (the left side, treeview), goto the category Connect, expand it, and then select Options.

A list of options appears along the top, the very last says "Check for timed out connection". Untick that (as Vincula already does this for you), and then click "OK".

That should do the job (Y)

hi, I have some problems with that thing,. I tried use that addon on my actual vincula so what version of vincula did u use for test that code?

the newer version of this addon has support for Vincula already done and few other connections, not editing needed, i've posted it in the MSN Addons Forum.. hope it helps people out.

U need windows XP SP2

with my vincula updater, it was tested for Vincula EZR and Vincula TG. An informate has also told me that it works for Vincula 4.9r as well.

Nevermind, works now for some odd reason lol

I keep getting that when i try to join a chat room on my script after i update it but i can join on java.. Anyone have a Clue why?

that error means that you are trying to send to much information to MSN at once, and they think your flooding, and disconnect you. So you might want to turn some features off first.

obscuridad, what he is saying is that he uses NuClearMSN connection by vexation, but it has not been fixed up as vex doesn't work on it anymore, and he wanted an updater for it. All that really needs to be done is the write codes and variables are modified to suite NuClear.

The problem with nuclear is it attempts to autoupdate all cookies/userrole ect before entering a room.

So even if you use an addon to get the cookies it still wont work as nuclear will not enter a room without autoupdating first.

Someones gunna have to edit the connection

i'll probably do so. i havnt use nuclear,

so i'll download it to edit it probably this weekend.

I think the JOIN, and some lil stuff will be the ones that will need to be edited.
