GD5 is made for msn chat only.

160GB Hard Drive
NVidia GeForce 8400GS 256
yea i know its for a msn chatroom but i dont know what to put as the IRC server
You don't have to put anything , if you start guarddog it will auto connect o.O
Pomperom
exactly. mine doesnt autoconnect.
If yours doesn't autoconnect that means that something is blocking the server. Either that, or you accidentally unloaded dogcollar.mrc somehow. First, type this in. //load -rs scripts\dogcollar.mrc. Then restart, and see if it connects then. If it doesn't connect then you might have a firewall blocking connection to the servers.
no no, thunda isn't getting it.
You don't need to connect to the servers or anything. When you start mIRC, in the status window you should see
connecting to lookup servers...
connected...
Remember though, GuarDDog is an MSN only script. You need to add a MSN passport to it, to get it to opperate, and it will only work for MSN.
To join a room, all you need to do is add your passport, allow it to reconnect the lookup servers, then right click the window, goto DogCollar Connection [Main] > View MSN Roomlist. From there, select the category along the top that you want, then select view. Then select join room. This is for subscription chat.
For group chat, right click the window, DogCollar Connection [Main] > Join Group Room...
Select the room you want to join, and done. it joins.
You don't need to use mIRC's connect stuff to actually join an MSN room.
go to
view
options
connect
options
then untick all
then click ok and restart gd
My code does NOT have bugs. It just develops random features.
