I originally updated all of them. I closed GD down and opened back up and it's still like my post above???

I also checked the Updater again and don't have zeros but dashes at the bottom again???

weird, i've never seen someone with so many problems...

Not to sure what i can recommend.

Here's an idea, turn off your firewall for the time being and get the updates .Then turn it back on.

Thank you all for giving input on all the problems that I am having. I greatly apprecieate it. If anyone comes up with another idea on what I can do, I'll check in from time to time. Again, thanks for all your time and effort.

have you tried other scripts? I guess if GD5 doesn't work for you, then it's best to use a different script like kenobi, hybrid or ChristianEthics.

I love your bot and used the GD4.4 ever since you had it out and had no problems. I am in our room as I type and can use some of the GD 5. It's just that those areas in previous post aren't working?

i'm not to sure how to go about fixing the problem. The updater works very well for me and a lot of other users.

I'm sure it's not a problem with your GuarDDog. I can use it for now, just have to manually unspec people and no updates. Thanks again for your time and all of you that tried to help.

try redownloading, and you'll be able to get to the "other settings" in the AOP system.

another thing to check is see if your Windows Firewall is on. If it is then you may need to disable it. Running firewalls at the same time can cause alot of problems, and won't really protect your pc.

Go to Start > Control Panel > Windows Firewall, and "Off" radio box if you want to use Zonealarm instead.

I totally downloaded a new GD5 and am able to get the ''other settings'' to work with the 'join' function. I have XP firewall disabled and am using Zone Alarm only with Norton AV. GD still will not update and neither can I use the MTS Loader function?

In the dc.debug window I get this: open - gd5.web

I'm wondering something? I am networked and am the client computer....the IP is 192.168.000.002.....could this be my problem and if so, is there a Work Around for it? I noticed for error reporting and addons that the IP is monitored????

This is the only thing that I can think of.... I appreciate your help to this point...Thanks!!!!

there isn't much i can recommend, it is working as it should, but yea, if you said it worked before, then stopped, well i'm not to sure what to do. It works for virtually everyone else.

Here is an update to the problems I WAS having .

I should have tried this before bothering you all, but didn't think of it until now...SORRY

I tried downloading everything through our Host Computer (we are networked) and everything is working FANTASTIC.....DUH!!!!!!!! It must be something to do with how the network is set up???

Sooooooooooooo....Thank you all so very much for your time spent and the good news is: I WON'T BE BOTHERING YOU WITH THIS NO MORE.......LOL.
