still use mirc 6.03, 6.17 only things that we needed in it but not essential .. are the decoded nicklist .. and SSL support.

Try taking 'own messages' off of mIRC flood protection: View-->Options-->IRC-->Flood -->Uncheck the 'own messages.'

Also try updating to the newer EZR, it has its flood set at 750--though there are a few bugs in the new EZR such as the msn.setup box not holding some of its settings. I'm just finishing up an update on it, which I'll release some time this week.

Flood on EZR 5 was set at 750 10 5 3

Flood in next EZR(now ECR) will be: 750 20 10 3

well i did as Gwen suggested and unticked the "own messages" ... but that just seemed to drop me out of the room when ever there's a flood ... which is worse that getting the queue flood message ......

-------------------

I'm starting to guess its more to do with Vincula that it does with the IRC Flood settings ...

I guess i'll wait for the EZR fixed edition to download and try

I leave the mirc's flood protection off too.

However, try this:

//flood 400 9999 9999 300

:blink:

I'm using Vincula TG, mIRC 6.16. I used your code, and was able to do over 1000 messages in one copy an paste. It just scrolled the screen for ages, an didn't lag one bit. Thanks.

uw ^__^ glad 2 help

6.17 has the fancy nicklist and SSL support, u strip that away and its the worse release of mIRC ever. I went back to 6.16 because i was having the same problem with messages in queue thing no matter waht i was setting. only time i didnt have that problem was when i would turned the flood protection off.
