Hello everyone, as everyone has notice MSN changes alot, what will MSN next step be does everyone think

what i think is gonna happen is either MSN Chat will close down for good, or MSN chat will turn into flash chat..

what is everyone elses opinion about MSN and whats gonna happen in the near by future?

I don't think MSN will be going anywhere MSN sits as it is and dont see it changing or bringing and new services for web community type things maybe besides updating spaces but MSNBC and the MSN ISP and stuff will all be staying the same etc but most the web features are going to Windows Live as for chat i dont think anything changing with it as it is now in the near future but if anything it will go to Windows Live Chat or somthing or it will just simply dissapear..

I still say they're gonna flower up so bad that they'll close.

Sorry 2 say, but msn SUX bigtime really <_<

it's totally dead after the subscription crap. And in case it became free once again, it won't be as popular as it used to be b4

on me:*:join:#:hop #

I dont know what they are going to do, but i know what they "should" do.

They should reopen free msn chat.

Now i know poor bill gates cant afford to loose the income (lol)

but they can still make money off the extra storage and other stuff.

MSN chat could have the potential to dissapear but like i said other services probably wont.

are we talking worldwide msn chat or just uk chat. my own opinion is that msn chat will always be around but we will be charged like the usa to chat.

Msn is going to stay and it may upgrade or do some stuff :).Msn chat will never get closed.I dont think bill gates requires this subscription to run his life :P.Msn made a wise thing turning to paid chat :) .

There is nothing so absurd but some philosopher has said it

Well once again changes, i feel that msn wont shut down seeing as it has for many years put a lot of work in there chat system, but i do see them getting outside contract from various groups to create a system that will make it harder to get scripts in. Such as Khaled the creator of mIRC! This i for see as being a huge problem, and also that you will have to buy the mIRC and then for some apparent reason i see a number being tagged to that registered user, and MSN will have control on that script= meaning any flooding or any COC isssues Khaled and MSN will ban that script your using! But this is all an opinion but a scary one :lolwave:

That wont happen. Not only that, if you notice, MSN was making more money on free chats, due to contracts for advertisements from other companies and what not.

MSN should reopen as free chat and to make up for cost overrun they should use google adsense

maybe they will be closing.. i noticed the people & chat link is never on the msn home page anymore.... unless they want ppl to go to spaces first to get to it <wo0t>

Agreed with err0r.

Their is a slight chance MSN might go back to the way they once were.

when you are talking about msn chatrooms are you including msn uk group chatrooms in this discussions?

i think mainly just msn chat in general ( mostly the normal chat you have to pay for now )

i am agreeing with err0r MSN Chat should go back way it was, and do the google thing. they are getting less popular everyday, and i do believe they were making more profit when it was free anyways.
