Welp, I've taken the liberity to download DogCollar, on mIRC 6.17. Well, anywho, I was looking at the nick searcher, and I get this:

I also only get 1 or 2 find servers connected out of 12. Any ideas on how to fix this? Screen shot of the dialog:

Hmm, just now checked DCPublic "Room and Nick Searcher" and it is going fine for me.

Well, I've tried this most of the afternoon, with nothing happening. Could it be that I have another script open? The most I've gotten is 3 lookup servers to connect.

Well, msn has been messing around with some servers. Might be something on msn side right now.

Yep, could be. I'll just wait it out anyway. So far, its working well. Might work towards a release of some sort. Maybe not.

It does the same to me too, X. I just kind of avoid using it. lol

the !find is a GuarDDog thing, not a DogCollar thing...

 

As for the connection problems, i would say that it's just MSN stuffing you over, i have never had any problems with it, but i haven't used it lately, but just checked it then, works fine.

I dunno if this is worth bringing up again, but, I tried the find thing again, and I'm getting the same thing. I deleted GuardDog and re-downloaded. Same thing. Could it be something within myself? Then again, some other people in my room have GuardDog and they notice the same thing, so could this be MSN? But, on another note, I tried the find with my Vincula, and it works fine. So, any ideas? Hate to be so persistent, but, just thought I'd bring it back up again to see if anyone has anymore ideas.

cold stalker seems to be working fine, gets all the servers

Yea, the remote find for Vincula is working fine to, thats why I was wondering if it's GuardDog

well the vincula one uses the lookup servers to do the finding. Mine works on the same basis as cold stalker, which actually connects to all the servers and looks them up that way.

 

in the status bar, how many servers does it say it's connected to?

Yep, I get the same thing. You're not alone lol. Good thing it's not a feature I use a lot :P
