I was talking to a member in the room via the script .. just for a bit of fun ... when I see this come up on the mIRC screen .. it sed you're not channel owner .. I dont understand wot it means .. I have made the script an assistant manager in the room .. so wot next .. 
Your just an assistant manager, so in other words, your just a host or brown hammer. To make yourself an owner, make the script a manager.

I have gone into my room and made the script a Manager the nick I use for the script him in the room ?? ... where I had him as a assitant manager .. but listen mate when I take him in the room he still has a brown hammer I have a Gold One and it still comes up in the script wiv a brown hammer and I still see the same message ...you're not a channel owner wot am I doing wrong

delete host access entries, update your cookies and hop it =\
actually you can add hosts and owners in the access
so check for a host access entry for your passport and get it removed
also sign out , delete cookies then sign back in

excuse me for my Ignorance .. but wot exactly is a channel owner in a script please ? The nick I use to get the script into my room .. has it got to be a manager i.e Gold Hammer or can it be assistant manager i.e Brown Hammer .. Im very Sorry but for some reason I am not clasping this .. Iv done all I have been told .. iv even deleted the script and re-installed it again and I still see you're not a channel owner?

In the old days of msn chat, the channel owner was the one who actualy created the room.
These days in group rooms its just anyone who is gold.
But there is another special case, some modes and options are locked in by msn.
so if your script is trying to change a mode or maybe make a brown pass in your group room you may get the message you are getting.
"you're not a channel owner" basicly means your trying to do something you dont have permission to do. Either because your not gold, or because msn is not letting you.
