mm anyone know if i can use mirc 6.17's decode in custom themes... as it seems to decode alot better than other decodes.
Ummm .... I dunno if you can or not .. read the helpfile for the decode. Might be there.
yes you can use decode in 6.17, goto Options Alt+O then to down to Other > Lock.
Itll be in the box at the right side.
No, you wont be able to connect to MSN that way on 6.17. It'll say:
*Locked Identifier Dialog (Decode) or something like that.
ohh i didnt see msn conn. mentioned 
i just said how to turn it on.
i have no problems connecting to msn with that decode thingy untickt in mirc options/others/lock
