Good day everyone...

for a while now the mIRC i use keeps doing something very VERY annoying...

it just keeps repeating that error 10 to 30 times a day .. and the weird thing is .. i'm not disconnecting from any of the rooms..it just floods the screen and then goes back to normal ..

is there a way to halt the error message from posting and/or fixing it to not work unless the software actually DOES cause connection abort ?!

I would try and make sure that it wasn't the connection causing backside hemroids. MSN is getting worse. I would reload Vincula and try to re-set the passport. If that does not work get a new mIRC. Make sure you have Key Safe in place before you delete your old mIRC.

It could be that You have a virus or some sort of Proxy Scanner going, that your unaware of :|

not 100% sure, but i had a virus awhile back that would try to use some of the ports to get my "info" and it would close connections out.

i would prefer mIRC 6.16

I tried to reload the vincula but it still gave me the same error after a while of using it ... perhaps its just one of the timers that is trying to keep the msn server connected ...

well its a new computer..and i formated a few days ago, Plus i use an anti-virus that's always up to date ((KasperSky))

I only use 6.1.7 because of the nick decode in it ...

nick decode? in 6.17 :\

i know 6.17 disables $decode by default and havent heard of a nick decode in it and i read the change log.

Well go out and download mIRC 6.2, maybe that'll fix your error.
