AYE, well this wee'un from a yankee country is partially scotts, would be nice to go there one day so I can finally see what is under those bleedin kilts.

I forget to see when this became a personal vendeta forum......guys, i know your gripes but take up your personal stuff with the persons involved. TG is a forum for people to share ideas (maybe check that with ozzy or err0r) but im sure they would agree.

This is definately not a personal vendeta. Buzzen has not done anything illegal against me personally. Instead, the "Buzzen fiasco" issue is highly reflective of the copyright issues on the net.

Buzzen seems to be working over time in trying to paint their wrong actions with right colors. Instead of simply admitting that their choice to require Buzzen webchat users to use the msn.ocx was wrong, they try to justify it and make it right.

Many people have no idea Buzzen is even an msn clone, and even less idea what being an msn clone means. I've had people argue with me that Buzzen OWNS the copyright to the msn ocx, because that is what Buzzen staff told them when they registered their rooms.

I've also talked to countless other people who fully believe that msn supports Buzzen because they were tricked by the unoffical Buzzen ad, which was sent over the msn servers by an msn sysop wrongly using his or her position to support Buzzen.

These people are chatting at Buzzen because they think Buzzen is officially supported by msn, or at least owns the copyright to the msn ocx. These people were tricked, fooled, and are now left feeling confused. These people certainly would NOT have chosen to chat at Buzzen if they knew this before hand.

I've talked to countless people that simply don't understand the issue, and at least if they are able to read about it on forums such as this, they can begin to form informed opinions and decisions of their own.

Also as far as I'm aware, err0r and ozzy support freedom of speach.

Deanne needs something in her mouth to shut her hell up

They must be gettin older cuz back in the day this thread would have been locked long ago.

i agree with you on that Shagman your absolutely right

Deanne needs something in her mouth to shut her hell up

They must be gettin older cuz back in the day this thread would have been locked long ago.

Yup lets all apply some pressure to err0r and ozzy now to 'silence this'

lol.

I tend to think err0r and ozzy are too intelligent to fall for that type of pressure.

xFrozenx, no one is forcing you to read this discussion topic. Why does it matter so much that I be 'quieted down' on this issue? People might hear about it and decide they don't want to chat on Buzzen afterall? Is that it?

**Edit**

ps xFronenx, I see that you just registered today :) You just didn't want to use your regular name to throw mud, or what?

Deanne if you havent noticed im a ranter, my show goes on no matter what. I could care less where this goes.

Deanne it does'nt really matter if you keep running your big mouth over and over again about same forum thread people are still gonna chat there the point is you been going on about same topic for days this forum is place for people to come for help if they need it and share ideas i thought that what techgear stand for or at least use to think that back in days enough of this bashing there not hurting anyone you must not have nothing better to do with your time go out find your self a man or something

Did some one bark.... :stupid: MSN is long gone now. So what people did on the MSN server RIP with the dead server now. As for Buzzen making an announcement with the help of an insider in MSN well dont you think thats all an old news story since MSN is no more?

As for Buzzen being a clone of MSN thats your opinion and your right to voice it. As for Copyright well I am sure duh that a big company such as MSN are Protected against this and would take legal actions if that was the case. Why bark at Buzzen because they have taken over from where MSN collapsed its members. Please grow up be adults dont you think you have a right? If you do have a right then that means you have a choice whether that be voicing your opinion or the choice of using a chat server other than Buzzen. So if you think Buzzen has done xyz then simply do not use it. Is it that simple to understand or may be its the case of lets bark we are all mad :lolwave:

All contraversy aside...i did have a question.

http://www.tg007.net/forum/index.php?showt...amp;#entry45499

Seems my question got burried.

Hey grinning_male,

It's just too bad that alot of people were tricked or lied to, to get them to believe that Buzzen either owns the msn ocx or is officially supported by msn.

Sure some people knowingly support Buzzen for the wrong it's done--but the majority simply wouldn't support copyright infringement, and thats why most 'supporters of Buzzen' want to see this topic die.

Now I've said my bit, and just have this left to say:

I have a type of respect for those people who are able to clearly state that they KNOW what Buzzen has done is illegal and unethical, and they simply don't care. At the very least, these people are able to be honest about their dishonesty.

It's the ones who try to justify, or sugar coat the wrong Buzzen has done that I find sad.

And it's the ones who were tricked or lied to about the state of Buzzens webchat service that I have compassion for. They deserve to have all the info, so that they can make an informed choice as to if they want to chat at a service that is willing to ignore other peoples copyrights, while expecting others to respect the Buzzen copyright.

sigh.

I love how people sign up one day just to say something bad about someone, shut up and we never hear from them again. Its those ubber leeto's! Anyway, no ones getting old, its just good to have controversy now and then. If you dont like hearing about Buzzen, dont come to the thread. Plain and simple.

Thinks he should add a big 'CLICK THIS THREAD' text next to the category title ..

Deanne, perhaps you can contact a microsoft attorney? The effective way is to bring this matter to court and get it over with.

i been trying to find out where and how buzzen forces users to chat there lmfso:P

My 32bit system is faster than 64 bit

why change, i gonna let me 64bit cpu collect alittle dust for now lol!

 I must say some people need to speak up for others simply because the other cannot even air their concerns or taken for a ride story by Buzzen on a forum. As I said before what Buzzen did or does is between them and MSN or any other third party... responsibility, law, liability, corrective justice, deterrence, retribution, no-fault of mine but that of a fault of another this is why I use Buzzen :stupid:

Hell i heard people been having problems the last couple days even trying to get into the Buzzen Buddy Place.

i been trying to find out where and how buzzen forces users to chat there lmfso:P

Yahoo, did Buzzen give webchat users any option to use Buzzen webchat without the msn.ocx? If not, then Buzzen forced anyone who wanted to chat at Buzzen on webchat, into using the msn.ocx to do so, because no other option for Buzzen webchat was provided.

And this is exactly the type of sugar coating that I dislike about Buzzen. Instead of owning up to the simple fact that what you did was wrong, you try to pass it off as......? what, the users fault?

If Buzzen hadn't have required webchat users to use the msn.ocx in Buzzen webchat, I'm willing to bet that none of them would have.
