Steps to get into Group Chat and Subscription Chat

vincula 4.8 works , so there is no need to change it

i use it to join groups and it works perfectly well

even the new hybrid has the right stuff done already. All you need to do is read the instructions. Make sure it is establishing a connection on start otherwise it wont ever work.

what is the irc server and port number I need to enter into my mirc connection

Groups Server : 207.68.167.251

Main Server : 207.68.167.253

Port : 6667

try using Kenobi or GuarDDog or Hybrid. I myself was not bothered to get Ozmosis to run.

That just means those dlls are missing from the specified folders. Try to find those dlls, and copy them into the folders that are specified. Infact, you can use this code. Place it into your remotes, and type /finddlls. Here is the code...

This will search for the dlls in your mirc folder, copy them, and paste them into the vincula4.9modded folder. After that, just rerun your script, and it should work fine.

P.S.: About the authentication failed error you are getting that just means you need to either update your passport, or your subscriberinfo if connecting to msnchat, or userrole if connecting to groups chat.

i use a msn updater and have no problems,with any scripts i download and use

If you have the vincula edited by kozical go into your passport dialog, look for the userrole box, and put in your userrole. Then, just click "OK", and you're done.

P.S.: This is the userrole code you will need to copy.

yea true, but alot of people don't like going through the process of writing out /prop userrole etc. so they just close, put new one in, and join room again.

not shure if you guy's realize but for those that use vincula , the latest modifed version techgear is hosting has both an automated subscriber and user role updater included in them

iv had a look at them both and they work really well although i have done some slight modifications to both the subscriber and user role updater's , also got them to work with scritps like

1. id4

2. id33

3. white widow

4. rigger mortis

5. clearmsn (yea i replaced the ones vex included as the ones that i now use update in about 0.9 seconds )

if your looking in to convering thease types of automatic updaters and are having dificulty just post n ill see if i can help
