Editboxes And Nicklists Removal

Hello,

Is there a way I can remove the edit box in a channel window and the nicklist in the channel window? I'd also like to remove the edit box from the status window too, but I'm not even sure if that's possible.

You used to be able to do it on the older versions of mIRC, but, I don't think you can do it on the newer ones.

rightclick on the channel tab and it gives you more options.

Yeah I got it to where the nicklist only shows if you press alt + tab and I'm fine with that because I'll need that to debug a custom nicklist I'll be doing (as much as I hate them)

The editbox has me stumped though... I think I might just have to create a custom window and hide all windows that are made by mIRC.... Even then I can't hide the status window.

I thought window h didnt work anymore?

i think it was messed up in one of the versions of mirc but only affected status window. but it was fixed.

side note that's has nothing to do with this but i need to vent.

Yay /window -h "Status Window" works for me. I was using /window -h 'Status Window'... Not the double quotes. Thanks err0r! lol
