Now I know I've ask this before but I just wanted to know an all in one WinZip or something like it. Becuase I'm sick of having to keep changing programs to get into other zip files. Like tar. At anycase I've asked this before like I've said, just I've been gone so long and my computer crashed on me and working I didn't have any time to fix it now that its reformated and everything I'm trying to get everything back.

power archiver is what i use

Get information about ircWx here

WinRAR works rather well for a lot of people, myself included. There aren't too many compressed file formats it can't open but it's far from the best program to compress files.

I don't get paid to know the answer, therefore I'm far more likely to give you a straight and honest answer.

I use this http://www.powerarchiver.com/

My code does NOT have bugs. It just develops random features.

I use ALzip. The best archive tool I've ever had the oppurtunity to use.

power archiver is very good ^_^

Alright thanks again. Guys/Gals are always helpful here. About the only place I come to to ask questions when I can't find the answers, or lazy.

ZipGenius on XP or older

The Extractor on Vista

ZipGenius will cause Vista to have those Windows Explorer.exe crashs

like Vista is known of.

I just like using WinRAR. That or 7ZIP.

I had Alzip once too, its free isnt it? but it did weird things on my pc like creating folders with weird names all the time.

I use winrar, great program, but not free.

isnt 7-zip free on sourceforge?

OMG tarball -zxf

It's free. It probably created the default folders (which are temporary internet folders with the file in it.) You can rename/find the path manually. I like it because it has all the choices of winrar, or any paid zip archiver for free.
