Can someone plz tell me wtf STH means? iLia types that alot.:|
It means there is a bad char in the nickname! Some chars have been blocked..
My 32bit system is faster than 64 bit
why change, i gonna let me 64bit cpu collect alittle dust for now lol!
msn ocx had security issues too and much worse, for example: it was possible to crash the whole browser and sometimes that crashed windows too, buffer-overflow issues, cloning, unkickables, etc...
So far we had no critical security issue like buffer-overflow. And any security issue that was rated as high was patched within 24hrs.
Uhh yeah, thats some of the reasons why myself and many others said the msn ocx sucked big time. I never want to script for it again!

Well that is normal for any software, it is part of the development cycle... bugs are discovered and patched. mirc had a buffer-overflow issue too.
Im happy to see buzzen de-cloning.
It takes courage to put your own work out there.
Anyways, I've spent the last few days idling and testing on v2, and while there are still bugs to work out, there are alot of nice features, for example the away messages, emotes, and whisper options.
I haven't run into a lot of down time on v2, except for the updates, which they seem to be trying to do at a consistent time each day. I've seen alot of improvement in the last few days, as far as bugs being fixed, and more features working properly.
All in all, I think they've done a good job, and I wish them the best. ![]()
freezes up my browser
It does seem to use a lot of resources to load the initial chat interface. Make sure you have the latest flash and shockwave versions installed.

And you have asked me and I have replied to you silly ! ( only it probably was about 3 years ago lol)
Sth is something same as sb is somebody. It's not a chat abbreviation...you find it in any dictionary. And as I use both sth & sb for work ( when I teach verbs) I use it a lot everywhere.
@err0r..I quite fancy the sound of 'The iLia' lol...
Ειναι πολλα τα λεφτα Αρη.
Yeah I found it in the dictionary.

LOL!
Growth where exactly? Might be an untapped market.
Well if its up to iLia then there is only one place she cares about.

Fanfare..I do not teach slang so trust me when I say it is not slang.

The only issue I see is that Buzzen made it public too soon. Typically you would be testing it with a select group of beta testers. The bugs would still be there but they would be experienced to understand they were testing to find the bugs. What Im saying is that bugs while still developing software is expected. The only issue is they allowed the general public access to the software so of course they complained. But they didn't really have much to complain about, they were just not experienced in the matter. Or briefed properly.
Look before leaping huh?
I have looked, you think I post remarks that just pop into my head? All I said was the new server is bugged, which it is, and I prefer the old ocx, which I do. I think buzzen made an error in moving the majority of its rooms onto the new server without first sorting it out, and I'm still pondering the wisdom of changing the layout at all, but not my call.
Keep up the buttkissing tho, you might get a staff position, lol.
Buzzen V2 should have been introduced 2 years back, and finally they have done so. I don't see a reason to keep dragging on. I know things are buggy at first glance, but looking at how many bugs they have resolved along the way is enough for me to applause for what they have achieved. I'm sure everything will fall into place over time.
Don't you just love it how some topics go off topic so fast lol
