Buzzen IM

Online messenger, you can now signin to your favorite messenger (Windows Live, Yahoo & AIM) via buzzen.

personally i wouldnt use any site to sign in to messenger except the site where the messenger originates

if you use another site then it is possible that they could view your email and password and take over your account

this is not to say that buzzen would do this , however it only takes one person working for them to get pissed and start doing it and they could have thousands of passes and email addys

My code does NOT have bugs. It just develops random features.

What he said ^^

err0r: 666 + 1337 = 2003 backwards is 3002 which is how many people ozzy has banned from tg
err0r: spooky

Sorry if I don't sound too thrilled about this but unless you've fixed the bugs , whether I have a Spacedom or not is irrelevant to me.

The new website will be there to replace the old website, more options for users and a better support will be the main tools. The site (.net) you are currenty using is a temporary website that was placen there untill the v2.0 website was ready for being released.

We did our best to work out most bugs, however it's almost unpossible to build a website without bugs, we try to fix them as soon as we notice them. Sorry if you feel this hasn't been done in the past.

Buzzen IM will use eBuddy's features. eBuddy is a very known webbassed messenger program which allows you to connect to your messenger sessions trough web.

hey ozzy you didnt like buzzen when it was msn clone and you havent been to buzzen to see if what you hear is even true so maybe just hush or come over to the devcafe and have some input or just see for yourself ... i assume you havent chatted there ... for some that read this forum Buzzen will never add up to much but to others that do chat there now the improvements will be welcomed and enjoyed im sure i personally applaud Remko and the whole development staff and crew for their hard work and diligence in finding and stopping the exploits and bugs but like any software its a reaction deal I think .... in the whole picture Buzzen is showing the beacon of free chat to the chat world with integrity and a little pizazz ... im glad you guys still are interested in our privacy lol and all but since Buzzen started not one incident of theft of personal info has been reported ... but still i invite you to come join us in a chat environment that is pleasant and friendly ...as always if you have any specific issues or problems with anything buzzen if you join the devcafe and speak to Remko, Chuck, Yahoo, Dez, enya, sunny or Qoob anyone of which will help anyway they can O and thanks for offering this forum so that some of us that do like Buzzen can keep informed of the progress being made on the flagship of flash ircwx chat .... Buzzen Chat

sideous ... aka David Trent

Buzzen is showing the beacon of free chat to the chat world with integrity and a little pizazz ...

Don't you still charge to get your room registered? If so, that's not free chat. As far as the web messenger thing, no thanks. I don't trust MSN enough to keep the same password long then a week, so why would I keep logging into some website that is probably more vulnerable then the server Hotmail is stored on?

No matter what you do someone will always seem to have a problem with a website. Whether it's logging in, viewing a page correctly, etc. There are just so many variables to consider that you are bound to have a few bugs.

While I do agree with ozzy on the messenger thing ( i wouldn't login to messenger on anysite other than the creator's of the messenger so it's not just buzzen ) I think they should be applauded for the steps they are taking. A lot of us came down pretty hard on them for using the MSN ocx. They are doing exactly what the naysayers asked of them. Move forward into a non MSN future. I've been running test scripts and visiting #devcafe for a little while now, and other than a few disconnects I think they are doing a pretty good job. ( Though i would like my err0r nick lol ). I think they still have some practices that a few people disagree with, but overall I think buzzen has come a long way in a short time and should garner a bit of praise for that.

Thanks Remko for posting the info. I look forward to the updates. Good luck and Merry Christmas :)

ok lets get past the messenger thing lol!

i think we have seen the opinions and are very welcome!

I feel focusing on 1 element is not really constructive!

My 32bit system is faster than 64 bit

why change, i gonna let me 64bit cpu collect alittle dust for now lol!

sideous how would you know if and when i have been on buzzen?

i think if you go ask jay you will find i have been on buzzen when it was a clone and i have been on the new chat

maybe you should hush and do as my sig says at the bottom in blue

anyway i wasnt dwelling on one point yahoo, i was stating that its not a good idea to sign into messenger from other sites

i was refaining from commenting on the rest of the stuff till i had time to check it out when it was available

I don't think everyone is focusing on the messenger thing YAHOO, but security is a huge concern online these days. I've seen the coding available to add a remote login for web messengers to a webpage, and i'm not saying buzzen isn't trustworthy. I'm just saying I wouldn't put my messenger ( which is also one of my mail email accounts ) info on any site. It's nothing personal YAHOO and i'm hoping you don't take it that way. It's a nifty feature but really a useless one. If you feel you must then post links to the webmessenger's homepage. All this amounts to is constructive feedback. Take it as it's intended please.

One question. I visit the Buzzen forum daily but never saw this posted there. Why post it in TG before Buzzen's own forum? I understand there was a broadcast made about it but some people might have missed it ( I know I would have if I wasn't parked in a room at the time).

Maybe actual Buzzen chatters ( not meaning that there aren't any in TG) may want to offer their opinion as well?

it's on the main page of buzzen, also they already have the buzzen chatters. Advertising on other sites is to drive more chatters to their site. Both sites win. Buzzen gets more exposure and techgear gets an active topic on the forum lol

Not only that, they hear from the people that hate Buzzen (me) rather then ones that will give them one sided views.

merry christmas all:)

Actually, the right point of view about that is : Buzzen Supported rooms are a gift offered to donators but people take it in reverse (= I pay to get a BSR) and that's typical of our current society which is very careful about its money :lolwave: Therefore, it's perfectly normal 'cause I would take it the wrong way as well :P

i don't have an issue with the pay for registered rooms. It's not mandatory to pay to chat and it's something msn didn't offer either. If ppl want to pay let them. If you don't want to pay either use a dynamic room or go to a server like VSIXc that doesn't charge for it. It's really not worth fussing at buzzen about. I think calling it a donation is a bit off. It's payment for a service. Very reminiscent of MSN's "your not paying for chat you are paying for extra hotmail space", the ability to chat is a gift. How many of you that bought the hotmail extra space wanted it? You wanted to chat You paid extra to chat not for want of more hotmail space. You don't donate money to the grocery store to get a gift ham do you. Just call it what it is and move on. I don't see why ppl are getting upset with what other ppl do with their money.
