Hi,

I've got a problem, my switchbar is notworking.gif how I want it to.

I have made a switchbar for my script, but when I dock it the channel list stuffs up.

I want the switchbar docked on the left, I also want the channel tabs on the left (on the right side of switchbar):

_______________________________________________

|#switchbar#|#channel tabs#|###chat###|#Nick List #|

The switchbar goes in the right place, then there is blank space where the channel tabs should be, the tabs and the background aren't there!! huh.gifwacko.gif

the code im using to dock the switchbar is:

dll $ktool DockWindow $dialog(switchbar).hwnd > left

and I'm using mIRC v6.14

Can anyone help me please?

thanks

you cant dock more than one dialog to the same side of the script

My code does NOT have bugs. It just develops random features.

I'm not trying to dock more than one dialog to the same side of mirc.

Below is a pick of my old script that works with what I want.

Notice where it says TEAM MMS downwards, thats the part that wont go where it is in this picture, instead it goes over the top of the swithbar instead of along side it and the chat windows go behind the switchbar when maximized which cuts off half of the conversations.

i take it your using mirc 6.16 ?

If this is the case , its written in c++ now and when you put the switch bar so it goes down the right , if you doc a dialog too, i beleive it covers them and messes up

but then i have not tried it , i always leave the switch bar down at bottom

I've heard that rebar.dll is better than ktools for docking. Try rebar instead. smile.gif
