Msn Messenger

i have msn messenger and when i talk to everyone but one of my contacts the sound its ok but when i go talk to this one person the sound just keeps breaking the person i talk to who's sound breaks has checked there microphone via msn messenger adn iv also checked my sound and its good. i dont know what other information i can give you so as you can help me other than i am on xp pro and they are on vista

could be their internet speed or their soundcard/audio settings or hardware restriction. could even just be a hick up if they're using messenger 9 beta.

now i am really confused becaue i have 3 desktop pcs in my home 2 have xp and one vista which belongs to my son so i tried with the other xp and the same problem sound breaking but when i tried whit the vista there sound was good
