Just wondering if anyone else has installed the Public beta of XPsp2 and what they think of it microsoft released it to the public for testing a few days ago i have it installed and its working with minimal problems the odd glitch but nothing major includes extra security and a firewall little similar to zone alarm.

I have enough problems with their post beta applications lol i think i'll just wait.
I was chosen as a beta tester and I HATED it. It was awful. Also tested with ClearMSN, RigorMortis, and Vincula passport updates, they all freeze. Several applications fail to work as well.
Though good things are:
Popup blocker in IE
More firewall options
and that is about it...
Though Windows Update V5 is excellent...

I remember when i beta tested winxp i knew it was crap such as why i am using windows 2000 professional and windows 98se....beta testing sucks...sorry that's my opinion..because half the time microsoft doesn't listen to you anyways so whats the point?
