hi!

i want to know that if there is any script to join Para Chat Server in pakistan there is a very famous website known as Geo which is hosted on Para chat please help me !

prolly need a bit more info.. what's the link to the network.. what sort of backend are they running as in ircd.. etc.

Get information about ircWx here

So i looked up, http://www.geo.tv/chat/ and it uses software from http://paprachat.com i can find no evidence that it uses IRCd as its back end...

"Since 1996, ParaChat chat software has been used by S&P 500 companies, small businesses and personal web sites alike to increase revenue and productivity, and to raise web site awareness, membership, traffic and visit duration.

ParaChat is a powerful, fast and easy-to-use chat software coupled with impeccable reliability and a rock-solid network. In under 5 minutes, ParaChat service can be implemented in your own web site to add the live interaction that is missing, and that your visitors expect. "

However that makes me think wow, i want to buy it!!!! THINK OF ALL THE REVENUE!!!

Not rly.

This is parachat's response to the question regarding using IRC clients to connect.

No. Due to the overwhelming security issues posed by IRC clients, ParaChat ceased to develop IRC-compatible software in 1999. Please use the ParaChat Java client to connect to ParaChat chat servers.

and

No. Even though ParaChat is a superset of the IRC protocol, the ParaChat server cannot be currently accessed via an

IRC client. Similarly the ParaChat client cannot be used to connect to an IRC channel.

it is the similar stance that MSN has wasn't it? :P MSN OCX was an offshoot of IRCx, so it was still capable of being tapped into by IRC clients. If they are saying its java based, if someone can get a hold of the source code, i could probably re-engineer it and make a mIRC socket connection.

Hello guys I was also trying to decompile the class files and I shot the google to find anyone trying to do the same, hehe. At first I thought I would find the IRC server and the configuration somewhere in the class files, but it seems it is not thaat simple.

Anyone who is interested, I downloaded all the class files and I am attaching it here.

In this case the server is an Indian chatroom (it is a cool channel though):

http://titanium.parachat.com/teenstation/l...600&lang=en

You guys can see it is redirected to: http://titanium.parachat.com/titan-common/code.php

Which loads with the following configuration in the source:

<APPLET CODEBASE=http://64.13.158.35/pchat/titanium/ CODE=pclient.main.ChatClient.class

ARCHIVE=papplet.jar WIDTH=591 HEIGHT=270>

<param name=cabbase value=papplet.cab>

<param name=Net.Site value="teenstation">

<param name=Ad.BrandOn value=false>

<param name=Ctrl.AutoLogin value=TRUE>

<param name=Net.Room value="Chitchat">

<param name=Ctrl.Language value=en>

<param name=Col.MainBg value=CC6600>

<param name=Col.MainFg value=000000>

<param name=Ctrl.Roam value=true>

<param name=Net.User value="Guest_589067">

</applet>

I have downloaded papplet.cab and papplet.jar and I am attaching it here.

Oh, I see, it doesn't allow me to upload it.

I uploaded it here: http://www.downloadtaxi.com/d/1247775371

(Downloadtaxi is like rapidshare and other file hosting services with the refreshing advantage that you don't have to wait anything, no popup ads and no premium shit needed)

The file is papplet.rar

MD5: 9ddca32f9f87effe333ef7c5afcc6de6

SHA1: 644ab8f936c297849fc39cb13ccb78bc4bd52440

And... for those who may be a little paranoid about the file here is the scan of VirusTotal:

http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/8ade7b8...27ee-1247775877

I hope we can make a socket for mIRC :)
