ok here is one for you ..... I pre-ordered windows 7 and put it on my machine and activated it two days ago on-line ... it is now 22:55 uk time and I was promted again to activate my windows 7 and had to go through to microsoft to activate it because it wouldnt let me do it on-line .... I asked the operater who dealt with my activation why it as asked me again to active the product key and she had no answer ?

Did you tell it to activate Windows as soon as you were online or did you do it manually?

I told Windows to activate automatically then the next day I had to do it manually because it hadn't done it.

I don't get paid to know the answer, therefore I'm far more likely to give you a straight and honest answer.

I did to the same thing,manually activated it in the end. :lmaojump:
