Is there anyway that msn emoticons appear in the mirc , like web chat , or have a theme like msn web chat ?

Hey there buddy,

Yea you can do this but you need to use a .DLL file which will provide a helping hand!! haha

On the downloads here at TG007, you can download either SmilesView.dll or imgmirc.dll :) I think the SmilesView.dll is more popular however... :)

Anyway here are the 2 links, I'm not sure if there is another dll or something else out there which will help, if there is I'm sure another member will point you in the right direction..

SmilesView.dll is: http://www.tg007.net/dls/index.php?action=file&id=846

imgmirc.dll is: http://www.tg007.net/dls/index.php?action=file&id=849

I'm pretty sure both downloads will contain information about how to get you started :)

Hope this helps,

Kind Regards,

Daniel

i've used all the methods mentioned above.. The most effective way is to use nhtmln dll and javascript.

Get information about ircWx here

Here's a good tutorial if you deside to use Smilesview dll:

Just keep in mind this is a complex code in some ways and you will have to call each smiley seperetly ( if I remember correctly that is ).

Thats good err0r will need to give it a try

actually why dont you use the one err0r made for Soulfly and just modify that a bit, as I have heard that some are using it for there IRC scriptz and it works well, its in the downloads section.

That would be fine for the nicklist, but he's looking for a way to have emotes show in the mIRC window like web chat.

WebchatZ 6.1 uses nhtmln_2.95.dll as well for chat emoticons. I'll be working on a new one soon. By the way, err0r. That screen shot of yours looks awesome. Great work indeed. :pizza:
