I was just wondering if anyone knew how to change the background of an icon

in a dialog. I have all my dialogs set to a dark blue/ black color and the icon backgrounds are grey and it looks yucky. I have a screenshot if you need to see an example of what I mean. BTW if you give me code that doesnt use mdx.dll please tell me where to get the dll you are using. THANKS IN ADVANCE!

1) Page doesn't exist

2) To change the bg colour, just use Paint's paint bucket tongue.gif

it works now..... i had .html its spoda be .htm

you're saying take a screenshot of the icons i want and paste them in paint

because paint can't open .ico files and fill the white background with the color i want?

That creates a new problem of ....i fi wanted to change the background to ORANGE then i would have black icon backgrounds. I dont want to create 10,0000 icons with diff colour backgrounds lol.

There has to be a way with a dll.

Thanks Anyway.

there are freeware/trialware programs that can create icons with transparent backgrounds (as long as you're running windows XP) .. look on download.com or somewhere.

bfush.PNG

send me the dialog and icons and i will change them for you

My code does NOT have bugs. It just develops random features.

no 1, you can't use transparent colors on pictures because they appear as black

no 2, do what vex said and use paint to change the colors

no 3, if you are not using mdx to change the dialogs colors, the colors will always be different depending on the person theme on their computer.
