is it possible for a person to download a script from the archived section replace the old connections and cookie grabbers and have it working again 
Yup, as long as it's the updated version of the same connection

Uh, most old scripts on here use Vincula, just update it to 4.9 (whichever one you want).
most of the archeived scripts wont work with the newer connections as they had extra stuff built into the conection its self
also , why would you want a script that doesnt work , when there are a lot better and newer scripts out now?

well lets see theres hybrid and dats not even cool anymore kenobi u have to register, um immortal doesnt connect to groups hell raiser has this one problem wid it ,ozmosis is cool but doesnt establish a connection to the groups and other scripts these seem to be the best but arent really of hook like mad crazy no affence to the scripterz but someone should bring a script dats totally rad

and a lot of people dont release scripts anymore cause of lame rippers

Well i liked the latest version of gaurddog it is good for msn chat.kenobi is perfect for group chat now.Immortal script i think i will make it for group chat too since many of them asking it

well all i have to say is this...........furby you shouldn`t say what scripts are cool or not cool,you should be thankful that there is scripters,like Ozzy,Cryton...and the The Gate Keeper ..etc,thats smart and know how to make them,i don`t know how to them my self but i do know one thing these guys work very hard and long on these scripts...............THANKS TO ALL SCRIPTERS FOR YOUR HARD WORK
on behalf of all the "good scripters" thanks for the note Luke. And DigitalX is right, whats cool and whats not is not determained by 1 person, but by a majority of people. Ofcourse you can have your tastes and that, and you can say you dislike something, but shouldn't go saying that they don't work or anything. I know for a fact that alot of the scripts you mentioned, do work, you just need to know how to operate them.

Actually 'cool' scripts are defined by personal prefrence. Whether you think they're cool or not, is your opinion. Keep it to yourself. As luke said, be grateful for what you have, instead of what you dont have.

No furby, its nothing like that. We are just saying, people blurt out these things about scripts that are 'cool' or scripts that are newbish. Honestly, I'll say this, none of the scripts on this site fit my personal prefrence. Thats saying it in a non offensive way. The way you said it made it seem like there is something wrong with the scripts that are released. Techgear probably holds some of the highest standards on submitting projects. If its on this site, err0r or Ozzy know the standards that most scripters want for scripts to come out. They know it will benefit the people. So when you say negative things about a script, be glad that you have it, instead of turning back or turning it down. Just my 2 cents.
I certainly go with X-fusion.My view is that why cant you try to script in order to satisfy your personal needs i hope no one can get into others brains and know what they prefer.I do think kenobi satisfies about 70 percent of what the user needs.
