Maztal Communications (New Server)

I just figured id post the link to the new chat server listed in downloads - Maztal Communications

a lot are using lightirc now.. looks like a good setup. i've played with it a little.

Yeah their current updates have been so far impressive, alot of customization features.

The website setup is looking good. Nice to see lightirc a little more integrated into a site then the standard index.html load, but I'm sorry I do have to say as a netadmin you should know what software is running your network...UnrealIRCD is not IRCdx there is no such thing.

Im well aware of what my server is, i know it's IRCd.. IRCdx is merely a name of a script lol. buut yeah, further updates to look and popups and such to come of course, still new.

Looks cool but do away with the old Msn icons and use new custom original icons... just a thought!

 

We are planning on replacing the MSN icons soon.

Why MSN icons? Can´t you make your own icons?

i wouldn't be too hard on a network using the msn emoticons. lots have done it. just because you might be handy in one area of a network doesn't mean you handy in another. Maybe they don't have someone that is adept at making emots or maybe they are focusing on other things atm as it's still very new. I haven't seen many networks that make their very own emoticon packs. I personally don't think the emots are a big deal.
