If you install this on a pc with windows 7 (does it come with a uninstaller to remove it) also will i be able to go back to my previous windows 7 system.
no it does not you have to do a clean install
well that sux (lol) you would think they would have put an uninstaller with the thing so you can remove it.
I just used VMware Player to install it so it wouldn't affect my normal os. TBH I really hate the new start page and right menu.

yea it looks a little funny in my view also.
i just purchased an HP Compaq 2710P to prepare for Windows 8. I will let you guys know how it goes after I get all the upgrades completed so it will meet the specs required for the install of the x64 version. Look for a review from me in the future.
the new start, and right menu is stupid, as if that makes things more user friendly. as well they have made things all boxy. I hate every thing about it.. at least with vista it looked ok this just blows
i guess if i was on a smart phone that layout might be ok or if i had a touch screen monitor MAYBE i could live with it.. as is I dislike it and I can't imagine any business that would like that setup either. Thankfully there is a hack to restore the start button. I really hate the right menu.. My prediction this is going to be like the vista release.. a huge screw up. I haven't seen anywhere on the net where users have good things to say about , yet in typical Microsoft fashion they don't seem to care what their users want.

I agree, think I would only use it if I had to on a tablet or smart phone, but heck if I gonna use one of them I rather use Android, in the end this will be like all the other failed OS's windows releases. 98, xp, and 7 being the only work they have done that I like.
I haven't tried it but hear a lot of mix feelings about it. I have to say I myself like window's 7 and wouldnt change it for anything, so dose my window's 7 mobile phone. so dose my HTC 3D EVO as far as i can say window 7 was the best that microsoft produced that was well lets say not a f%$#@* up 
after mass tweaking and changing things to what I like, its not so bad.. tho I should not need to hack the os to get it to a useable state, being that said if it keeps stable with the tweaks I put in place then I may grow to like it some what...
the fact its still exploitable to all the old hacks bugs me, you would think Microsoft would fix these by now...
the boxy feel still bugs me a lot
the right menu really makes it a pain to close programs in full screen
adding the start orb back makes the start menu a lil less annoying tho I would like to see a classic menu option
the new task manger is nice I will say that has to be the best they have done far...
For those that are not in to the whole windows 7 phone os style then this os is not worth your time as the gui is pretty much based off it
I will post more as I play with it more..
