Multiconn Project

Here I will be documenting our progress with the MultiConn Project

Purpose of Multiconn is to connect to the major networks in our community using one instance of mIRC while trying to minimize the use of socket connections.

Yeah been been really great helping err0r with this, as right now im in Toronto and will be back on Sunday. so will add more emoticons and add a few more detailed icons. But its been a great experince for me.

Love the look and the features. err0r has done a great job on this Multi_conn and just the feel and look is simple and will be quite user friendly and great for advanced user's.

From what I've seen over the past couple of wks & all the SS's, Great Job so far gentlemen. I have a feeling that no one will be able to beat it.

As far as a multi-server script.. I do not see anything beating it. And I am saying this without even using it. But based upon screenies and its dev team.. I doubt anything will come close. Even if people only use it for one server.

i'm not sure the term "beating" is really applicable. Everyone has different tastes. What one person thinks is great another might think much differently. This would simply be another option. The coding in this script isn't anything others can not or have not done. We are just putting our own touches on it. 99% of what is in this script was things from my personal script. There are still some issues with the project and i'm sure there are things that need to be added/edited/done better. Don't expect the holy grail of scripts here lol.

Added font control dialog for SPCN and Buzzen

Font/Color dialogs for all networks with the exception of vibesn now working. Unable to check vibesn until it works again .

Looks like a preset font list out of curiosity? And I would like to see the color dialog too

i have the option to use preset or load all fonts from font folder.. i have a rather large font directory and hate the slower listing so i made a smaller preset list.

in color dialogs the 25x25 square colors use the rgb color selector "Color" dialog The dropdown color selectors use either the current mirc color list or customized color list ( old msn list of colors ).

Nice, very well thought out. I have a lot of dev and theme fonts on my system as well which really slows things down. So I decided to store the list, which sucks if you add more fonts, but makes it faster. I almost wish I went with the preset list now.

Any expectation of release? It looks like it is coming together.

Shouldn't be much longer.. working on room creation dialogs for a couple of the networks atm

Added easy Room mode access for all networks. Changes per active network and is optional ( opens and closes )

Icon Manager added

There some said they didnt like hammers as icons so here, with the icon changer you can do what ever you want!!
