Has Chat Really Died

err0r, if you want to know something about Sparkpea, it isn't like you can't fire up Skype. There are somethings going on behind the scenes. Don't want to jinx anything, but.......... Stay Tuned.

I"ve seen a few things discussed on facebook.. i don't really use the sparkpea service.. i'm pretty busy with other projects but techgear is always here to post any updates A lot of ppl including myself like to hear about what's going on.

I know little about sparkpea but i feel their chances of getting a new "ocx" are slim to none.

I can only speak for myself, but I want the OCX gone, that is what is limiting Sparkpea right now. There are things being worked on behind the scenes, and it takes time to get all the different people involved together to discuss things, but if this is supposed to work out with a new updated Chat, it will.

i wish sparkpea nothing but the best.. having good chat networks is never a bad thing.

:oops:are you going to emerge with Pk_ and bumblebeechat and rogue ... that is the talk of the town or are you going to go it alone ... I myself can't wait to see some development in sparkpea ... I have made myself a member but one thing after another has kept me away from sparkpea over the years ... I do understand that it takes time to develop a chat net work ... I will put my head round your sparkpea room in general sometime

The reason I made the comments is because most of your rooms on your chat network and the ones you emerged with ... the rooms are full of scripts ... as for sparkpea most of there network chat rooms are empty and just a few rooms seem to come alive late at night and again visit different rooms in different category's and again you will find the same nicks aka scripts/bots in them ... I don't put two and two together cause if I did I would come up with five just general talk in buzzen and a few other chat networks mentioned your name ... this isn't a war of words ... I started this topic and if you read through it you will see quite a lot of people think just like I do ... facebook ect has killed the art of joining a chat room whatever chat network and having fun and chat

outside of buzzen i don't know what any of the networks are doing.. was surprised to see phreik close though.

it was on the cards and as you said shame another bites the dust ... don't let buzzen go I wont know where to go

buzzen has a bright future. Lots of new things in the works. I don't have the free time to check out other networks like I used to. Hope they are all doing well and i look forward to hearing about any updates.

as I said this isn't a war of words ... as you can see ... I expressed my concerns in this topic that Facebook and other blogs seems to be taking the place of chat ... I feel your comments must have been said while either in drink or maybe something else you took ... I certainly am not a tosser as you have commented and you will be surprised how welcome I am in other chat networks ... I don't pull chat networks down I look at them ... then I tell people I know in other chat networks where they will find a room open to chat and not see so many people not talking and taking part in chat rooms and as I have stated before you seeing the same old nicks sat in there cups ... you sound when you haven't took something or drank something that you are an educated man shame it didn't show in your comments ... there is an old saying and I will receipt it to you sticks and stones may break my bones BUT names will never hurt you ... well I look forward to your welcomes when I use your chat networks in the near future lets hope that things progress for you ... good luck Pk_

plenty of room on the net for all networks.. one person's negative comments wont' hurt anything.. haters are gonna hate.. just do your thing and strive to improve your work. that's all that matters.

I don't post much here or chat much anymore. I stopped in Buzzen last night, it was as alive as ever in the rooms most people visit. The only thing about the new chat that irritates me is this 70+ people in a room. Hard to keep up. 30 or 35 is a good limit so people don't get lost who can't type 200 WPM.

On a side note, I have to agree with J0hnson that if you are coming in here flaming people you do not present a very good outlook and you show a penchent to disrespect people Pk_. That's not how you get new members. You show yourself to be arrogant and not very profesional. Also you have more or less hijacked this thread from the original meaning. So, yeah, you are spamming your site in this thread.

looked in three chat networks today and I looked into loads of chat rooms and no one wanted to talk ... lots of bots but no real people ... I still say chat is on the decline or as I said before "Has Chat Really Died" most room in all these chat networks where either zero chatters or full of bots ... is this what chat has come to ? what a shame ... maybe MSN will come back one day
