Just heard about this a couple of days ago.

PhreikChat had a hardware failure causing a kernel panic freeze.
all website files and database were recovered.

however at this stage.. ive decided to probably not continue the chat service.

yeah huh. sad really . phreik had a lot going for it. it just couldnt recover from the bad name it picked up over the years i guess. i just wish the software was available to some one so it does not goto waste
