Phreik Goes Flash With Cams !

Just an update to say phreik now has its flash webchat set as the default for new users.

the msnocx is still available via option. End user can choose to use either.

Its coded entirely in flash CS4 / AS3 from the ground up. includes cams using FMS installed on Centos.

Runs smoothly, and infact.. ive coded it with "controlled" processing of the IRC raws.. so to speak..

wich means.. it literally cant be "hung" from a flood or etc. As developers in flash would know.. its not

the fastest executing end product. but believe i hav overcome this. emotes r similar to msnocx so ... "regs"

dont phreik out to much with the change. but planned for extra emote sets in future.

Apparently cam chat has been the IN thing for a while now... although it tends to attract the pervs. Good luck monitoring things.

in regards to pervs.. yes certainly that element is possible.. but so far hasnt been an issue, most are enjoying the new feature.

u hav full control over who gets to see ur cam after its turned on, someone else wishing to view you, requests it from right click menu on ur nick, a request dialog pops up the other end stating the nick, with a yes/no button, and a checkbox to "remember this decision".

so if theres a persistant so and so.. jus check the box an click no. an they can request all day an you will not be disturbed.

can also change ur mind after u let someone, an boot them off from the slide down "whos watching" list.

when i get time will do some custom swf's for use in mirc with nhtmln, and add cams to the phreik addon.

Zantetsuken ...... i would suspect most female in the chatrooms would hav boobs yes ... and possibly some men to !
