connection assistance required

hi.. ive been trying to connect to koach with mirc and get the following error directly after either hitting connect in the mirc options box with koach selected OR by doing server -m chat.koach.com.....

* Unable to connect to server (Permission denied).

hoping someone can help me out... cheers

I don't see anything wrong with the server address of chat.koach.com

Are you using a proxy or vpn?

Sounds like an error I'd get if I'm connecting to a port not meant for chat like 6667... Not sure what port Koach uses but another idea to check.

6667 ( should be the default port )

i USE chat3.koach.com 6667

No im not using vpn or proxies or anything

oh i just solved it ... doh

ima dumbass... peerblock was blocking it... never had a problem with that blocking anything mircy before.
