Help Registering

i just now started paying for the msn stuff where i can get back into the chats... When i put my passport stuff in vincula and try to connect... it tells me i have to register... What do i do? i am also using vincula 4.9 if that matters

I would use ClearMSN, as far as I can see, its a lot better than vincula.

will that help me with my problem?

Most likely, download clearMSN, and load the C51.mrc file into your remotes, then right click, or do whatever and youll see the menu and whatnot blah blah, and update this and that, and it should work better than vincula in my opinion.

ClearMSN will look up all the info you need to connect automatically, and totally fast. It even finds all the groups you belong to for the passport you use. I highly reccomend it. (Y)

Me too, ClearMSN is the best connection I've seen. There should be an award for it in my opinion.

in my opinion, ClearMSN is very well coded, but i've talked to vex about improvements for it. Basically it depends on what full script you are using. If you are using something like GuarDDog, the vincula in it is pretty up to date with times, but if you are making your own, i would start with ClearMSN connection, and make it from that because ClearMSN is more stable from what i know.

i have run into a few probs with it....its sweet to join group chat..but does it have to reset ur chat room options and have that pain in the butt guestnull prob...also y have it subscriber only...when ca chat rooms %#welcome_ca1- 20 are non subscriber?? (should have both options) i havent looked at the code in depth to play with it to change those issues i dont have the time ...but would be awesommeeee if some one fixed those

Vincula EZR 3.4 is set up to work with subscriberinfo and group chat userroles, if you want to stick with vincula you can try it.

I also really like ClearMSN but I'm still having a few problems getting all my files changed over to $mi, keep missing places and things just stop working..till that gets all ironed out in my script, I'll put both clear and vincula in it.

you ars NOT allowed to take scripts in the msn run rooms, however they tollerate you using them in your own room

then y have the subscriber option at all ??? i just think there is alot of ppl that chat with out paying for it (ie. welcome ca rooms...wich seems to be script heaven) and that clear msn would be "the connection to have" if it was made so it worked for everything..but right now i have to stick with vincula..because i can join "all rooms"

Hmm Well If your not a subscriber to MSN, you shouldn't be in there, one of the reason they closed it, abuse to service. I wouldn't recomend using a script in any MSN main room unless your a subscriber, otherwise its just looking worse for us who don't abuse there subscriber service. ClearMSN is helping stop the abusers who are abusing.
