First of all, Congrats on the release well put together script, dialog, and options...

Hmm ive never come across those errors whilst using it and i dont think any of the beta testers did. Yeah, I agree with you 100% about the options etc its a great script well thought of.

just remove the $gettok properties, donno why it was there. so line 93 should end up being.

and with the second problem, it will do that if you use /ping, which is a manual ping. If you were to ping someone via the nicklist, it works fine. Reason is becase you can't use /ping on something. Maybe $asctime would work, but the way i set it up works via the nicklist only. I will look into it alittle later, but thats about all i can say.

Great job on the script gate.. it's easy to use.

Couple of questions I have for ya...

1 - How do I turn off the onjoin auto voice? I want to keep my chatroom specced at all times.

2 - I have chatroom specific scripts, how do I load them into GuardDog and use them? I can't find anything like "Tools..." "Remote..." at all.

auto voice cannot be turned off, unless the user is on the spec list, its the way i designed it so that it would be fast working.

to load scripts, alt + r, will open up remotes, it is not recommended that you change any of the scripts, but feel free to add in ones yourself. If you want things like access commands, you can add them via the extreme dialog.

You've gotta get subscriber info. You can do this by using vinculas main menu "Vincula - Main Menu" and find "Update Passport information (Fast + Subscriberinfo).. that should do it

either that or make sure you don't have user role and subscriberinfo in at the same time because sometimes that causes problems.

I tried Gaurddog lite 4.0 well mate i would say it cant get better than this very excellent job Gatekeeper congrats.I would say an artistic work done by Gate.Once again well done mate great job keep going.

Too bad you can't turn off the auto voice, my co-owners aren't happy with that cause our chatroom is a totally specced room and this script is getting me in trouble.

If there's no way to remove it, then I'll be forced to give up a great tool that works and go back to trying to find one that will work in subscription chat. Man, that's a pain.

SEC Look in guard.join.mrc about line 122 you will start to see

/mode $chan +v $nick

Simply remove

| /mode $chan +v $nick  

that should solve your voice onjoin problems

ty much for telling him, reason why i wasn't really wanting to say, do this, do that, is because GuarDDog is really, how would you put, dependent on some lines, but that line has nothing special so yea its cool, also if a user was to mess up something, well lets just say it doesn't work out to well

Great script that i must say updates quickly and get all info needed... The ? i have is there away to do action text i was looking and even tried typing in /action (then what i was wanting to say) and nothing seems to happen i am a newbie with guard dog and would appreciate any ideas on how i may get this to work .... like i said keep up the great work i love the script myself.... Thanks again...

to do action text, use /me and not /action, but i'll update it in the updater, so that users will be able to use /action aswell as /me

ADDED: I've updated the GuarDDog Updater, so if you run it, it will put in the ability to use /action aswell as /me

alright, fixed it now, and tested aswell. so just run the updater again and this time it should work.

Hey gatekeeper dont worry about it, since i now know /me will work i will continue to use that but again i want to thank you for providing a great script....

try it again, i fixed up the guard.theme.mrc thing again. It was just writing to the wrong file, if you update it should work this time.

That was a great chance for me to get the update in action . I've been waiting to use it.
