Several reports of users using Windows 98 or Windows 200/ME, have reported to me that they cannot view Vincula options in the custom menu bar. I have no clue at all why this is occurring, or how it happened. Considering I don't have a clue how or why, I can only explain steps to get around this problem, and not fix the problem. Follow these steps, and you should be able to use GuarDDog's Vincula options.
Step 1) Open GuarDDog.
Step 2) In the custom tab, drop down mIRC Options.
Step 3) Select Options.
Step 4) In the tree view to the left of the options dialog, select display [very close to the bottom].
Step 5) Check the box for "Show Menu Bar".
Step 6) Then click "OK".
After you done this, mIRC's original menu bar will appear above GuarDDog's custom Menu bar. Look along that menu bar for "Commands". Select that, and there you have Vincula Options. You can do all the stuff that you could do from the custom menu bar one.
This is the best I could come up with, especially since I have no knowledge of how or why it is occurring. So just use this method till I work out a solution. If anyone knows why or how it freezes up just Vincula options and nothing else. Please either post it here, or write me an email [ [email protected] ].
