its as simple as that;

a status bar made with Ktoolz, it works well and everything.

the problem is that the Sb disappeares when i right click status window, type /clear, click a nickname on the custom nicklist, or even when i switch between rooms, or between the mirc itself and any other window.

ideas? o_O

PS: i tried ver; 6.12 & 6.16, same got both problems, coz in lower versions the ktools work well

If you are using...

/dialog -m dialogname dialogname

...try this.

/dialog -mo dialogname dialogname

This sets the dialog on top of all windows. If this doesn't help then it might be a glitch in ktools, or something. Have you tried using rebar.dll?

scrap ktools and use rebar.dll instead. actually, the guy who wrote rebar has a new one out with a few more options, i forget what its called but you can get it at mircscripts.org.

using ktools doesnt contain /dialog -m, its like /dll ktools.dll createSb

bars.mdx is an mdx file that gives you different controls. what i mean is that instead of docking the dialog with ktools, use rebar for that. its available in the tg downloads section, under MSN/IRC>dlls, etc...

i had the same problem with my status bar, til i switched to rebar, which works a lot better.

shoots ktools

yeah vex, but the problem wasnt in docking as the ktools docked it well, the problem is that it used to vanish. so i used the status bar control in the bars.mdx

wich is hosted in a list box in the dialog.

now it works well and including icons tongue.gif
