I've heard that this exploit affects NetGear and LinkSys routers, as well as older versions of Norton's Firewall. Are you using one of these products? Google "IRC DCC SEND exploit" for more info.

There are rarely, if ever, IP bans set on the MSN Groups Chat Servers. I'm almost certain this is not your problem. However, I don't know what your problem might be. Sorry.
