try and join the room in hex mode instead of -blah- form. I'm not sure where there is a hex converter but hex form is the easiest way to get around the problem you are experancing.

that is the self protect in mirc. i don't think the problem is caused by vincula, i think it is one of your other scripts that may be interfearing with vincula. To test this, all you need to do is get a fresh mirc, put vincula into that,...

yes ozzy, that is the main reason, cause there is no real point in having a bot because it isn't like irc, its more of a java based or dhtml based chat so yea, its useless to have a bot anyways.

you see, after 6.03 was release, i think the creator of mIRC got abit annoyed and didn't like people changing his product, thus he just made it so that if anything is modifed, mIRC would not run. Sucks I know but thats just the way it is.

there was no problem with your original code but with the room name you should use # or * because #El-Salvador will only work in a room like this, and all msn rooms are %#<name>

from what i know, there isn't, mIRC only allows you to copy files and save them to different directory. But i could be wrong.

if you have vincula, open it up, and in the status window type /msn.resetocx wait 30 seconds and close bot, close all msn things, and then attempt to join chat, i've been in chat for the last 8 hours, and its been working fine.

group chat is back up now, just type in /msn.resetocx , wait 30 seconds, close bot and open it again, and it should establish a connection. Use the tutorial on TechGear007.net to get user role.
