I'm just getting into nicklists...not having any real clue on what is what.....I've fully avoided them in the past, as I liked the stability of the default one in vincula. except, that lately, more and more people are using heavily encoded nicks..which are terribly difficult to read in vincula..
Clearmsn does a great job on its nicklist, decoding the names so you can read them.. and it seems as stable as the vincula one. ..I'm wondering how difficult it is, to change from an encoded nicklist like vincula has now, to a decoded one like clearmsn ?
I've tried the new nicklists on techgear..and while they look great, they lag me, and conflict with my script detector on the /who ..so I'd rather stick with the default nicklist, simply showing a decoded name, instead of encoded.
Any help would be welcomed.
Thanks,
Gwen
