gk the reason we were against the silent kicks is cause the only way to remove someone from a room is to flood them out and this gets abused by idiots who would download your script just to go round rooms and diss ppl, as it is possible...
i had these problems and more with 6.17 , so i dropped back to 6.16 and all is fine again now
Kenobi allready has a nick detector in If you want to know whats in kenobi , just go to the main dialog and have a look round the differentr tabs
win98se i believe doesnt have the stuff to do ssl which is needed for the updater maybe gate can add an nhtmln updater for 98 users
kenobi works fine it was updated days ago but the grabber in it can be temprimental so we are still working on tg grabber but we dont have much time i might try get some more done on it tonite when my daughter is actually asleep lol

thats the server and mirc checking with each other to see if they are still connected ( ping/pong event ) Its nothing to worry about and if you go to mirc settings you can change it so it doesnt show as to the cookie grabber , it isnt...

are you using mirc 6.17 ( the latest version) if so i have gone back to 6.16 as 6.17 has a few bugs , like the flood protection being totally broken the ssl doesnt work correctly and it crashs a lot
denys are done in minutes so a 60 sec ban is 1 and a 24 hour is 1440

you dont need to install it all you only need 2 dlls in the mirc folder libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll and make sure your using mirc 6.17 then add VincPPUpdater.mrc in the script and open mirc , this will then load the dlls then load the...
err0r and i had a fix this morning and msn changed things again then i had a go at my g/f's and i got it working and they changed something again so at this time it seams we have to wait a day or so for them to stop changing stuff
